Women Techmakers კომპანია Google–ის მიერ წამოწყებული პროექტია, რომელიც Google-ის დეველოპერების გუნდში შეიქმნა და Google[X] -ის ვიცე პრეზიდენტის მეგან სმიტის ხელმძღვანელობით რამდენიმე წელია ფუნქციონირებს.
ქალთა საერთაშორისო დღის აღსანიშნავად, Google -ის ინიციატივით მთელი მსოფლიოს მასშტაბით ეწყობა Women Techmaker ღონისძიება რომლის მიზანია IT სფეროში ქალების ჩართულობის ზრდა, ახალგაზრდების წახალისება და მათი პროდესიულ ზრდის მხარდაჭერა; წარმატებული ქალი ინჟინრების, დიზაინერების, დეველოპერების გამოსვლებით სფეროს განვითარებაში მათი მნიშვნელობის ხაზგასმა; ქალ და მამაკაც დეველოპერებს შორის ინტეგრაციის, რესურსების გაზიარებისა და თანამშრომლობის ხელშეწყობა.
Women Techmakers თბილისი: საქართველო თბილისის Google-ის დეველოპერების ჯგუფის ორგანიზებით მსგავს ღონისძიებას 29 მარტს უმასპინძლებს. მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ Women Techmakers თბილისი ორიენტირებული იქნება ქალებსა და ქალ დეველოპერებზე, იგი არ გამორიცხავს მამაკაცების ჩართულობას. პირიქით, პროექტის მიზანია ქალების ჩართულობის ზრდა, მამაკაცების აქტიურობის დონის შენარჩუნების ფონზე.
ღონისძიება მოიცავს:
• ტექნოლოგიურ საუბრებს/სემინარებს;
• სპიკერების პანელს, სადაც IT სფეროში ჩართული ქალები დამსწრეებს გაუზიარებენ საკუთარ გამოცდილებას, მისცემენ რჩევებს, ისაუბრებენ არსებულ გამოწვევებზე და ზოგადად განიხილავენ აღნიშნული სფეროს პერსპექტიულობას;
• სხვა სახის აქტივობებს რომლის მიზანია ტექნოლოგიების პოპულარიზება და მონაწილეების ერთმანეთთან დაკავშირება.
